This is where we'll announce the most recent changes and
additions to our web site. If you've visited us before and want to know what's
changed, take a look here first.
31 August 2012: Exhibition Report 2012
A pictorial report of our 2012 Exhibition has been added to the site. It is
accessible from the link to the left.
3 September 2011: Dolores
At our recent exhibition, Dolores received two provisional invitations to
exhibitions in 2012: Narrow Gauge North and Leeds MRC. Maybe we were right when
we thought the layout's strange shape was what was preventing invitations.
3 September 2011: Exhibition Report 2011
An illustrated report of our 2011 Exhibition has been added to the site. It
is accessible from the link to the left.
22 August 2011: Dolores Rebuild
The rebuild of Dolores has been completed in time for its first public
appearance at our exhibition on 27, 28 and 29 August 2011. The turning wye at
the right hand end of the layout is gone as is the oil depot around a right
angled turn on the left. The layout is now straight rather than the awkward
shape it has always been previously. It is hoped exhibition managers will find
the new straight form easier to fit into hall plans and Dolores will get more
invitations to shows.
14 May 2011: New 00 Layout "Croglam Castle" Under Construction
The Society began construction of a new 00 layout in late 2010. For details
see Croglam Castle.
14 May 2011: New Members' Layouts Pages Added to Site
A much more comprehensive page describing members' private layouts available
for exhibition has been added to the site. Click on
Members Layouts here or above.
4 September 2009: Exhibition Report 2009
An illustrated Report of our 2009 Exhibition (29-31 August) has been added to
the site. This, along with the 2007 and 2008 exhibition reports have been moved from the News
page to their own separate pages accessible via the buttons on the left. Be
warned, these pages have lots of photos and will take a long time to download if
you don't have broadband.
4 September 2007: Wards End Album
An Album of Wards End photos has been
added to the site.
