The Society owns several exhibition layouts in different scales and gauges. One of these layouts (Lofthouse in Gauge O is complete and exhibitable. Dolores, (American Sn3) has recently been re-modelled and is also available for exhibition. The third layout (Wards End, Gauge O) is not exhibitable at present. 

Construction of a fourth layout Croglam Castle in 00 gauge began in late 2010 and has progressed as far as baseboards and track. Wiring and control panels are also complete as are a number of buildings.

Our fifth layout, Cowling Top (O gauge) was formerly a member's home layout and was kindly donated to the club. It has been modified to operate from the rear and a loco servicing facility has been added.

Scale: 7mm/ft, Gauge: 32mm (Gauge 0 F/S), Nidd Valley Light Railway, 1920s.
46ft x 3ft (13.8m x 0.9m), plus space for operators.

Dolores

Scale: 3/16in/ft, Gauge: 9/16in (Sn3), Rio Grande Southern, 1950s.
3ft x 29ft 7in (0.92m x 9.03m).
Recently remodelled and exhibited in new mode at Skipton 2014.

Wards End

Scale: 7mm/ft, Gauge: 32mm (OFS). LMS/LNER somewhere to the south east of
Leeds, 1935.
Under reconstruction.
Not currently available for exhibition.


Wards End


Croglam Castle

Scale: 4mm/ft, Gauge: 16.5mm (00). Very loosely based on Kirkby Stephen East.
16ft x 8ft 6in (4.88m x 2.59m).
Under construction, not yet available for exhibition.

Cowling Top
Scale: 7mm/ft, Gauge: 32mm (0FS). Under reconstruction.
Ready for exhibition in 2015.
